Welcome to The Traveling Cottage! Our fictional correspondent travels to new locations across a fantastical land and reports back in whimsical dispatches from their shape-shifting cottage.

Come on in, have a warm drink. The kettle is just about to boil.

What to Expect

You open a newspaper to the Travel, Arts, and Culture section. Or maybe it’s your favorite travel magazine. Now, imagine you find articles about the life, culture, history, and sights of a magical land, one you have never heard of.

Travel Article

You will receive a sticker that fits the month’s theme. Typically within the 2”-4” / 5-10 cm range

Themed Sticker

To accompany your letter, each month you will receive matching art you can hang on your wall, send to a friend in the post, or scrapbook!

Themed Postcard

Not every month, but sometimes, an additional sticker, craft, or stationery goodness will be included!

All art designed and text written by Cynthia Wright (a human). You’ll find no AI, as we don’t believe in making art using a human’s creations unlicensed and uncredited.

All items will be sent to your digital inbox (e-mail).

Sign-ups for the month close at the end of the previous month.

Letters will be mailed by the 15th of the month via USPS.

If You’re Wondering…

That is up to your tastes and preferences. Here are some factors to consider:
- Do you like receiving letter mail? Go the physical route.
- Do you want a physical copy of the art and writing? If yes, go physical.
- Are you not interested in adding more items to your home? Are you selective about which pieces of art you bring to your home, even from artists you love. If yes to either, go digital.
- Looking to spend less each month? Digitial is the one for you!
When you sign up, you will not receive a letter until the following month. For example, if you sign up in December, your first letter will arrive in January.
This also means that if you pay for May's membership but cancel before paying for June, you will receive a letter for June. If you would like a refund instead or have any questions, please email me at the.traveling.cottage.shop@gmail.com.
Each letter is independent, meaning you can join at any time without missing a beat!
